Counter-narcotics in Mexico

SCL conducted population data collection in 13 Mexican cities under the influence of drug cartels. The client's objective was to assess the impact of US policies and procedures related to the drug trade on the violent crime rate in the U.S. Data analysis showed that the true impact was in complete opposition to prevailing assumptions. This meant that the client's scheduled programs to reduce violence would instead have increased it. The client redesigned their programs to accurately align with their objective, and further used the data to justify their resource request.
